The Rancho Mirage Rattlers Varsity basketball team faced off against the Shadow Hills Knights on Friday, December 3rd. Recent games for both teams are as follows: Unfortunately, varsity lost 59-82 against Shadow Hills. Cathedral City  lost 88-50 in their last game. However, both teams performed excellently in their recent games.

The game was kicked off via layups (0-4). First play of the game was the first three pointer made by CCHS. Later, the Rattlers made their first three pointer. Sadly: we lost the lead, leaving afterwards with 23-22.

The fourth quarter began with the resolution of 45-46. During this quarter, an unfortunate incident happened with one of the players injured due to a lay up against CC.

Another incident happened with one of our players slipping off the floor. Luckily, they did not attain any severe injuries. The updated score for that round was 57-55.

The last and most memorable play of the game was a three pointer from way from our Rattlers. With the scores of 71-60.

Regardless of our loss, varsity was excited to have the opportunity to play against Shadow Hills.
